Lead Cook and Supervisor

Job Description:

The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for prisoners and staff in a correctional facility, working under the guidance of a senior supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meats, vegetables, and casserole dishes for general or modified diet menus
• Supervising and directing other inmates in the kitchen to ensure smooth food service operations
• Maintaining a safe and efficient food service environment within the correctional facility
• Ensuring adherence to standardized procedures and recipes
