Unit Position Summary
Assist Others In The Performance Of a Wide Variety Of Routine Manual Labor Tasks, Including But Not Necessarily Limited To, The Following
- Moving, loading, and unloading of supplies, equipment, and furniture.
- Mowing lawns and landscaped areas.
- Shovel snow, sand and de-ice walkways.
- Collection and disposal of debris.
- Cleaning, refurbishing, repair, and occasional painting of building areas and equipment.
- Planting, cultivating and harvesting of agricultural areas.
- Haul, spread, and grade topsoil using appropriate implements.
- Construction and maintenance of road and walkways.
- Caring for and feeding of livestock.
- Issuing, receiving, and storage of supplies and equipment.
- Transports supplies, materials, tools, and equipment to work site using a University vehicle.
- Operation and maintenance of vehicles.
- Participate in snow plan by shoveling, operating snow removal vehicles and equipment and applying ice melt products.
- Assist in football tailgate cleanup.
