Michigan Sugar Company has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Factory Administrator, located at the Sebewaing Factory.
Job Summary:
The Factory Administrator in Sebewaing works directly with the Operations staff, suppliers and also supports other employees of the company. They also work with the Employment Relations Manager, Payroll Manager and Accounts Payable at the corporate level. Supports the factory for seasonal hiring of general labor staff and supports management with other staffing needs for the Factory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entering requisitions/check requests and processing invoices for Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate, support trainings and audits throughout the year.
- Order office supplies.
- Log daily attendance calls and forward to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain and support all areas for job postings and awards.
- Recruit/hire campaign employees, coordinate trainings for new and returning employees.
- Prepare shift schedules and roster, update as needed.
- Prepare bid lists for Inter-campaign and Juice Run.
- Prepare notices for shift schedules, upcoming training, daylight savings time, etc.
- Maintain inventories for anthracite, limestone and other commodities used by the factory.
- File pertinent information is personnel files.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in related field or 2 years of equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrate excellence in oral and written communication.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
