Job Summary:
- Maintain and install electrical and instrumentation systems within the warehouse, ensuring seamless operation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Michigan driver's license and state-issued Journeyman or Master's License.
Responsibilities:
- Install conduit for electrical and instrumentation wiring, measuring and cutting as necessary.
- Pull wire for electrical or instrument requirements, ensuring correct size and number of conductors.
- Use hand tools to install devices, requiring torque to secure screws or connectors.
- Install, replace, or repair electric motors, lifting and aligning them as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits to resolve issues and restore equipment functionality.
- Operate technical equipment, including drills, grinders, and wire pullers, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Work independently and collaboratively with mechanical crew members, exercising good housekeeping practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management, such as repetitive lifting and carrying items up to 40-50 pounds.
