This full-time role includes a variable hourly schedule and integrates you into the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers Local # 263-G.
Your Role in Our Journey
- Diagnose and handle mechanical repairs while managing changeovers on packaging lines.
- Organize and follow the parts process from order to inventory, alongside maintenance staff and clerks.
- Proficiently maneuver through the parts storage and align charges to respective equipment.
- Collaborate with leadership to maximize production and minimize interruptions.
- Regular maintenance on pathways for our sugar consistency and summer maintenance readiness.
- Handle urgent maintenance calls effectively, documenting any excessive downtime.
- Use every moment productively, finishing work orders, and taking initiative on new tasks.
- Keep organized maintenance records and share lessons learned for collective growth.
- Monitor material needs precisely and pack parts securely.
- Utilize various technical tools to ensure operational standards are met.
Your Expertise
- Hold a relevant college certificate or license in maintenance.
- Having 3 years of industry experience is advantageous, especially with plumbing and air systems.
- Capably navigate equipment controls and computer interfaces.
