What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Inventory Lead 1st Shift position at Michigan Turkey Producers?
Essential Functions of Role:
- Perform cycle counts on specified schedule
- Reconcile product issues in warehouse system
- Communicate issues and adjustments to leadership
- Work closely with warehouse order pickers and leadership on missing product
- Collect and consolidate damaged product and adjust to properly reflect inventory
- Work closely with leadership to consolidate materials in racks and maintain FIFO
- Research out of rotation picks and correct and communicate issues with leadership
- Act as a back up to shipping team as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, and warehousing; Must have Industrial Truck equipment experience including, but not limited to Lift Truck, Powered Hand Jack, and Reach Truck; Detail Oriented; Able to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment; Excellent communication skills; Must be responsible and self-motivated; Computer skills, utilizing various Microsoft programs; including Microsoft Office and Excel; Must be able to communicate, speak, read, and write fluently in the English language.
