The Michigan Out-of-Doors Youth Camp is seeking to fill our Range Officer position for the 2025 season. This person must deliver hunter safety instruction and curriculum in an enthusiastic, safe, and responsible manner. Must supervise campers on the archery, 3D archery, and firearm range. Must be able to maintain and repair range equipment, including firearms.
The Michigan Out-of-Doors Youth Camp creates safe, responsible, ethical outdoorsmen and women. A range officer must be able to convey these concepts and show accountability. Range officer is to observe campers' skill levels to determine abilities and equipment options on the range. Must also be physically capable of performing daily camp tasks and traversing our 250-acre facility. Experience in outdoor recreation, education, childcare and an interest in natural resources preferred.

- 18 years of age or older
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Michigan Hunter Education Instructor or willing to apply and start the process to become one
- Experience with archery equipment and firearms
