Job Summary
Full or Part-time Optometrist position at Michigan Vision. Michigan Vision is a group medical, surgical and optical practice in Mundy Township (Flint mailing address), Michigan. The practice provides comprehensive eye care at its state-of-the-art 18,000 sq. ft facility with separate free-standing Surgery Center. Excellent pay and benefits package available. Duties

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and the use of prescribed optical devices.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry, including new technologies and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state optometry license to practice.
• Experience with optical systems and equipment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly to patients.
• Previous experience in sales within an optical setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with ophthalmology practices is advantageous.
