Molder

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, 49507

Summary:

The primary function of the Molder is to accurately make molds using sand in the formation of a propeller, strut or rudder. Additionally, the molder will use patterns to make other parts.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Must be familiar with Matchplate and/or Loose Pattern molding
• Use sand to accurately make molds to customer standards
• Maintain proper housekeeping in and around work area
• Stay on task and hit their production goals each day
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to understand quality and safety standards

• Keen attention to detail

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Demands:

• Stand at work station
• Operate hilo/lift truck/bobcat/hoist
• Push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds
