About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the critical link between our customers and engineered solutions, combining technical expertise with business acumen to drive revenue growth. Youβll collaborate with internal teams, engage with customers, and develop tailored sales strategies to expand our market reach.
Key Responsibilities
β Develop and execute technical sales strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
β Engage with customers and distributors, primarily via phone and email
β Identify and pursue new business opportunities
β Communicate the technical value of our products and solutions to customers
β Lead technical discovery calls, demos, and proof-of-concept implementations
β Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
β Provide detailed technical responses to RFPs and customer inquiries
β Guide customers through the technical evaluation and implementation process
β Gather and relay customer feedback to engineering and product teams
β Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape
β Assist with project management for complex customer solutions
What Youβll Bring
πΉ Bachelorβs degree in Naval Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field
πΉ 3 years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
πΉ Strong presentation and communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
πΉ Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!)

Experience with marine propulsion systems

Background in hydrodynamics
β
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools

Project management experience
β
Experience in trade shows and government contracting (bid/proposal management)

Spanish or Japanese language skills a plus
Work Environment & Travel
β Up to 20% travel to customer sites and industry events
π’ Office-based role with interaction in manufacturing environments
π¦Ί PPE required in manufacturing areas and some customer sites (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes)
πͺ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for trade show setups
