Bartender (Part-time)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar or during events.
• Ensure all food safety standards are met while preparing drinks and serving food.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or private parties.

Skills

• Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation.
• Experience in nightclub or bar settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with food industry practices, including food safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
• Understanding of retail math concepts related to inventory management.
