What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Credit Placement Position position at Mickelson & Company, LLC?
Location: Sioux Falls preferred, but flexible on location
Compensation: $125,000 to $225,000 base plus target incentive compensation of 25% to 100%
Responsibilities:
· Conduct marketing of tax credit listings in a professional, organized and comprehensive manner (primarily focused on renewable energy tax credits with some state tax credits)
· Obtain term sheet offers on listings from tax credit buyers
· Establish new and maintain existing relationships with tax credit monetizers to ensure strong ongoing partnerships. Initially, emphasis is needed on establishing new relationships.
· Facilitate outreach to regional CPA/TEI events and other industry events to expand outreach
· Coordinate presentations to potential buyer groups to expand awareness
· Organize and manage database of tax credit monetizers
· Coordinate and conduct outreach for tax credit listings (to be transferred)
· Develop and execute marketing documents and approach
· Utilize expertise and market knowledge to assist in new business development
· Preference is for someone with prior experience and an established network, but not required
· V.P. Level: Strong existing network of tax credit monetizers or expand responsibilities into an adjacent area (e.g. tax equity, capital deployment, asset acquisition, pool experience)
Required skills:
