Mickey Keenan, P.A. is boutique personal injury law firm fighting for people injured in automobile accidents. We are seeking to hire a Case Manager Assistant to support the pre-litigation Case Managers. Job duties include the following, but are not limited to:
- Handle all requests for medical records, billing ledgers and liens from providers including follow ups
- Request PIP logs from insurance companies
- Process all mail and faxes
- Pay invoices related to medical records requests
- Other administrative requests from Case Managers
Qualifications
- Monday-Friday in person at our Tampa office
- High School Diploma required
- 1 years of experience in pre-suit personal injury case management is strongly preferred and familiarity with civil litigation
- Working knowledge of Florida automobile insurance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Cloud Based Practice Management Software
- Critical thinking, professionalism
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently in a challenging legal environment
- Excellent Communication skills
- Attention to detail and tenacity to follow up on requests by the assigned due date is necessary
- Benefits are eligible to full time employees only after 90 days of employment, with exception to 401K (see eligibility requirements)
- Employer contributes 60% of the lowest priced plan for employee.

- 40 hours (5 days) to use throughout your first year of employment
- Additional time accrued on each employment anniversary based upon tenure
- Carryover of unused hours available
- Six (6) major holidays are paid: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (including the day after Thanksgiving), and Christmas
- One (1) floating holiday is earned at the beginning of each calendar year (Jan 1) to be used throughout the calendar year.
- If not used within the calendar year, this benefit is lost.
