HR Generalist

We are looking for an experienced HR generalist at our law firm with a serious record of achievement with recruitment. Candidates must have significant experience successfully and efficiently sourcing, recruiting, and hiring candidates of strong fit in the last three years. Our HRG needs to have a record of building positive and engaged people cultures through deliberate strategies that recruit, develop, and retain stellar team members. Additionally, we need someone with experience with HR compliance, benefits, payroll, and other administrative support responsibilities.

Job Duties

• Ensure sourcing and hiring practices are compliant with labor regulations
• Quickly & effectively lead talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct initial candidate interviews and screen for both culture and technical fit
• Engineer excellent employee onboarding and help organize team leads to execute
• Provide education to potential employees in various HR-related topics such as leave, benefits, compensation.
• Enhance job and onboarding satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Use current knowledge of HR law and best practices to lead various projects, such as employee handbook development, performance evaluation design, corrective action tools, and compensation studies.
• Collaborate on ongoing initiatives as a skilled Florida HR business advisor to the CEO & COO of the firm.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in business administration, HR, or related field is preferred
• Demonstrated record of sustained success leading hiring initiatives from search through onboarding for hard-to-fill roles
• Proven record of success as an HR generalist and recruiter
• HR certifications through SHRM or HRCI
• 3 years of experience working in the same or similar role

• Benefits are eligible to full time employees only after 90 days of employment, with exception to 401K (see eligibility requirements)

Group Term Life Insurance

• Employer will make a contribution equal to 3% of your compensation. This contribution is fully vested.

Requirements are:

• Attainment of age 21
• Completion of one (1) year of service
• 1,000 hours of service

Profit Sharing Plan

• Dependent upon Employer and company’s yearly profit

Paid Time Off

• 40 hours (5 days) to use throughout your first year of employment
• Additional time accrued on each employment anniversary based upon tenure
• Carryover of unused hours available

Paid Holidays

• Six (6) major holidays are paid: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (including the day after Thanksgiving), and Christmas

Floating Holiday

• One (1) floating holiday is earned at the beginning of each calendar year (Jan 1) to be used throughout the calendar year.
• If not used within the calendar year, this benefit is lost.
