From our 3 and 4 year old Kydes Kiddies and town recreation and travel programs, our full complement of 1/2 day and full day summer soccer camps, to our soccer educational and consulting offerings, Mickey Kydes Soccer approaches each segment of our business with the same important philosophy - that with an emphasis on fun and creativity, players and programs achieve success through an organized, consistent and disciplined approach.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating young athletes in the fundamentals of soccer. This role involves not only teaching skills and techniques but also fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills, fitness levels, and understanding of the game.
- Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on individual and team performance.
- Organize and lead competitive matches, ensuring all players understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Educate players on game strategies, sportsmanship, and the importance of physical fitness.
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Manage behavior effectively during practices and games to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create an inclusive environment for all participants.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in soccer, is preferred.
- Familiarity with other sports such as basketball, martial arts, or swimming can be advantageous.
- A background in physical education or related fields is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes.
