This position would act as a technical advisor for equipment repairs and assist the management of the quoting process. This position will also be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. Fleet Service Manager Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Ensure the productivity and profitability of the fleet service center. * Motivate, Train, and Develop team members. * Manage the day-to-day repair operations and activities of the repair technicians. * Deliver supreme internal and external customer service. * Administer consistently and fairly Mickey Truck Bodies policies and procedures. * Inventory management * Assist management in quoting customer repairs. Fleet Service Manager Required Education, Knowledge & Skills: * High school diploma/GED (Bachelor's Degree preferred) * Minimum of 5 years shop management * CDL A driver's license. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. * Strong knowledge of general equipment repairs and welding procedures * Awareness of the industry's latest technology trends and applications * Ability to think strategically and lead. * Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions. * Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook) Physical Requirements: * Must be able to communicate clearly. * Requires ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. * Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel. * Specific vision ability required includes close, distance, color, and peripheral vision with depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
