Repair Service Manager
Hourly pay $25 to $28 incentive package
Our Freehold NJ location is looking for a proactive Repair Service Manager to lead a growing fleet reconditioning facility in Freehold NJ.

Repair Service Manager Summary: The service manager’s responsibilities will be safety, planning, coordinating and directing the operations for all repair procedures. This position would act as a technical advisor for equipment repairs and assist the management of the quoting process.
Repair Service Manager Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the truck body reconditioning center, including maintenance, repair, painting, and reconditioning services.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of parts and materials needed for timely service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and prompt resolution of issues.
- Develop long-term relationships with fleet owners, operators, and partners to drive repeat business.
- Provide accurate estimates and timelines for reconditioning projects.
- Foster a positive, safety-conscious, and team-oriented work environment.
Repair Service Manager Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a repair shop management role.
- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
- High school diploma/GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational success.
- Understanding of fleet maintenance, bodywork, painting processes, and reconditioning techniques.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Implement cost-control measures where necessary.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Repair Service Manager Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, crawl, and kneel
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
