1st Shift 7am - 3pm
Position Summary : Under the direction of the Plant Manager the Maintenance Clerk is responsible for performing activities and coordinate maintenance supplies utilizing computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
Responsibilities / Duties :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time :
- Using the computerized maintenance management system, input and coordinate stores, work orders, spare parts inventories, etc.
- Maintain inventory levels of perishable parts for both maintenance and production.
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
- Purchase MRO supplies and negotiate with various vendors.
- Implement material control system as part of the CMMS with input from the maintenance and production managers and supervisors.
- Organize & coordinate spare parts inventories.
- Coordinate & purchase components to perform PM and work ticket tasks.
- Is conscientious, and follows all plant Quality Teams’ requirements
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures (5S) i.e. production floor, shipping & receiving office and warehouse as needed
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
