As a Dishwasher, youll play a key role in the culinary operation by ensuring that all kitchenware, service items, and cooking equipment are clean and sanitized. In our fast-paced casino resort environment, efficiency, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines to clean plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools
- Manually scrub pots, pans, and heavily soiled items
- Organize and restock clean dish ware and supplies in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and trash receptacles
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper chemical handling
- Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning and light prep tasks when needed
- Ability to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team player with a positive, dependable attitude
- Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
