The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a deep understanding of quality control practices and methodologies. We believe that quality is key to our success and are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to help us maintain and enhance our standards.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in engineering Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality testing, or continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with project management is a plus.
• Demonstrate intermediate level Microsoft office suite skills
• Ability to navigate and learn different technology platforms, used in the daily operations of the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Testing: Design, implement, and manage quality testing processes to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and reduce defects and decrease scrap
• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, manufacturing, and operation teams to implement changes and ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to identify the source of defects and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality testing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training: Provide training and support to team members on quality testing procedures and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all quality testing processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, including CRSI and DOT
• Customer Feedback: Engage with customers to gather feedback on product quality and use it to drive continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from conception to implementation.
• Other duties as assigned.
