SUMMARY
The Program Manager will manage and coordinate complex customer programs involving new products, new processes and technology development and implementation to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and profitability targets. Key responsibilities include development and implementation of risk mitigation plans, maintaining recurrent action items lists, reporting progress both internally and externally, facilitating project status reviews and post-project evaluation meetings while ensuring continuous improvement opportunities are realized.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage project development from initiation to closure, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met
- Work with the project sponsor to define project scope and establish project teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules from initiation to completion
- Build, develop, and strengthen business relationships vital to project success
- Execute the Micro-Coax Project Risk Mitigation Process, including customer requirement reviews during quotes, new order reviews, production readiness, and post-project evaluations stages
- Participate in daily Tier Action escalation processes to ensure project deliverables are met and obstacles are addressed promptly
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans
- Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle
- Report project status on a regular basis to stakeholders, including Micro-Coax management team, and escalate issues to meet project deliverables
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, providing clear communication of project expectations to the project sponsor and team members
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members, ensuring proper resource allocation and alignment to achieve critical objectives
- Capture project results and lead post-project evaluations to determine team successes and identify process improvement opportunities
- Oversee New Product Development production runs to validate manufacturing processes
- Develop, maintain, and update work instructions and related documentation

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees
- Program Manager will be required to lead project teams through influence and collaboration
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- At least 5 years of applicable experience in a Project or Program Management, Engineering or another related role
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Project Management Certification desired, such as CAPM / PMP, or other Project Management accredited certification
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods working on a computer. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
- ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas
- Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas
- Hearing protection in specific locations
- Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas
