Job description
Due to continually growth we are looking for a Set-up Tech for the Brighton, MI Mueller/Micro Gauge location. Schedule is 3 pm to 11 pm with OT as needed. Pay is based on experience.
Training: Will be done on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks. First shift is 7 am to 3pm Monday - Friday.
SUMMARY: Provides engineering support for all aspects of assigned product line to ensure functionality, quality, cost, and schedule requirements by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design.
- Performs initial setup of lathes, mills, and broaches.
- Utilizes machine tooling and work holding
- Handles setup of process flows.
- Utilizes initial job specific machine set up instructions for job books.
- Maintains existing processes.
- Assists in correcting quality and production problems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in setups and or change overs for a CNC machine shop within a manufacturing environment.
- Fanuc controls experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing machine tooling and work holding
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and follow blueprints as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- All in attitude.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
