Job description
Due to continually growth we are looking for a Set-up Tech for the Brighton, MI Mueller/Micro Gauge location. Schedule is 11 am to 7 pm Monday - Friday.
Training is on 1st shift for 4 weeks 7 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday.
SUMMARY: Provides engineering support for all aspects of assigned product line to ensure functionality, quality, cost, and schedule requirements by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design.
Performs initial setup of lathes, mills, and broaches.
Utilizes machine tooling and work holding
Handles setup of process flows.
Utilizes initial job specific machine set up instructions for job books.
Maintains existing processes.
Performs minor gauge troubleshooting and repair.
Assists in correcting quality and production problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 56 per week

Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation of CNC lathe
- Knowledge of GD&T and CAM programming
- Understanding of quality control processes in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills and experience with hand tools and fabrication techniques
