T2 Experienced CNC Operator

Job description

Micro Gauge, a CNC machining shop in Brighton, is seeking CNC Machinist for our:

Third Shift 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday

Responsibilities Include:

· Meeting production and scrap goals

· Inspecting machined parts for surface defects and verifying conformance to specifications provided in job book instructions using measuring instruments

· Changing tools and making offsets to machines as needed

· Reporting hourly production, scrap and downtime on appropriate form

Qualifications Include:

· Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions

· Previous CNC experience required

·Experience with lathes and mills

-Knowledge of Opt 10 and Opt 20

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

· Standing and repetitive bending and twisting

8 Hour shift

Summary

As a CNC Machinist on the 1st shift, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components. You will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading, machining, and precision measuring instruments to ensure high-quality output. Your premium skills in CNC programming and GD&T will enhance production efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, your relevant experience with tools and lean manufacturing practices will contribute to a streamlined workflow. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 per hour
