Manufacturing Logistics Associate
Position Overview:
Micro Logic Inc. is seeking a motivated and diligent manufacturing logistics associate for our Mahwah, NJ location. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop a comprehensive understanding of the machine shop business, starting with shipping and advancing through various roles including supporting operations. Understanding and demonstrating the importance of safety, adaptability, speed, and composure are crucial for thriving in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving: Manage shipping processes and receipt of raw materials, including packaging, labeling, using shipping software, and organizing storage.
Material Handling and Inventory Management: Safely handle and store materials, and maintain inventory levels for efficient supply usage.
Order Processing: Process orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks for tracking shipments, inventory, and orders.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to logistics and shipping.
Transport Coordination: Coordinate transportation of goods, including scheduling and route planning.
Quality Checks: Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Warehouse Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for efficient operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies in logistics processes.
Secondary Processing and Finishing: Apply basic machine shop skills such as detabbing, deburring, cleaning, chamfering, grinding, tapping, and powder coating.
Basic Machining Operations: Operate machines like lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines, ensuring safety.
Work well with management: Conclude with understanding how sales, account management, purchasing and operations work together to retain and gain new customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Basic understanding of machining and mechanical processes.
Execute tasks and projects with a sense of urgency, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions, maintaining flexibility to realign focus as required.
Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment, providing clear and effective solutions.
Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating agility and responsiveness in a fast-paced work environment.
Proactively identify challenges and opportunities, responding swiftly and efficiently to emerging situations.
Uphold a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding both individual and team goals in a dynamic setting.

CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360®, Mastercam®, SolidWorks®, Mill Cam, CAMWorks®, or other CAD/CAM software is a plus.
