Performs a variety of detailed accounting duties in accordance with standard accounting procedures under the general supervision and guidance of the Controller.
Job Responsibilities :
- Process Payments : Prepare and manage outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Financial Transactions : Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Reconciliation : Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Discrepancy Resolution : Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
- Reporting : Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
- Compliance : Understand and ensure compliance with expense accounts, cost centers, and relevant regulations (e.g., W-9, sales tax).

Must be able to work in an office setting, sitting in one place for up to two (2) hours without getting up. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to twenty pounds. Must be able to abide by safety rules where applicable, including but not limited to wearing close-toed shoes and safety glasses.
