Position Overview:
Are you a detail-oriented pro with a knack for precision? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector in our Physical Dimensional Calibration Lab who are ready to ensure our clients' measurement instruments are always spot-on. As a Quality Control Specialist, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the accuracy and reliability that our clients depend on. Responsibilities:
- Calibrate primary, secondary, and/or working standards with precision.
- Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Inspect calibration equipment routinely to meet high-quality standards.
- Develop calibration procedures for new or specialized equipment in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
- Maintain efficient equipment operation, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Perform maintenance and repair of precision equipment.
- Manage calibration standards, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in quality control, internal audits, and continuous improvement processes.
- Engage in projects to enhance efficiency, expand services, or address customer needs.
All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
Requirements and Skills:
- 3-4 years of Quality Control experience required.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Physical Dimensional Calibration training is preferred.
- Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred.
- Familiarity with calibration and working with precision measurement equipment.
- Proven experience working under ISO 17025 is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8- hour shifts
Pay: $25-30
