Job Title : Entry Level Electrical Calibration Technician

Location : Chatsworth, Onsite

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Salary : $20-35 per hour, depending on experience (DPE)

Position Overview :

We are looking for an Entry Level Calibration Technicians to specialize in Electrical Calibration. You'll learn skills to ensure the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, requiring precision, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities :

  • Learn to calibrate electronic instruments (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, HiPot testers, etc.)
  • Learn calibration standards while accurately entering data and generating reports.
  • Inspect equipment, identify issues, and collaborate with engineers for solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during audits.
  • Maintain safety protocols and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO / IEC 17025, ANSI / NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI / NCSL Z540-1-1994.

Requirements and Skills :

  • Vocational Degree, Associates degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Familiarity with typing, calibration, and Military PMEL / TMDE / DOD training (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visits
  • Valid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
