Micro-Tech Endoscopy USA (MTU) seeks a full-time Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our new Memphis, TN facility. This hands-on leader will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse management, with a strong ability to drive inventory accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
As a key leader, this person will develop and mentor the warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. They will identify growth opportunities, implement training plans, and lead with a positive, results-driven approach to meet ambitious goals while maintaining a fun and engaging work environment.
With a focus on process improvement, the Warehouse Manager will drive efficiency by optimizing workflows, tracking key performance metrics, and ensuring safety remains a top priority. This role is critical to our organization's continued growth and commitment to best-in-class customer service.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal. Supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Oversee day-to-day inbound/outbound shipping & receiving, including internal transfers.
- Utilize warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics. Schedule and conduct cycle counts with the team. Reconcile variances and make entries and adjustments in ERP system.
- Implement warehouse and logistics reporting and analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with OSHA regulations.
- Schedule and ensure the warehouse team is able to consistently meet the demands of the fulfillment center, managing the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Lead warehouse team by example: work hands-on on the warehouse floor.
- Meet regularly with warehouse Leads and Supervisors to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
- Inspect equipment, tools and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
- Optimize and schedule freight, balancing costs with the right level of service and speed.
- Conduct regular logistics vendor reviews, with a continual improvement mindset.
- Work cross functionally with all team members, including Operations, Sales/Customer Service and Accounting.
- Seek improvement opportunities in all areas of warehouse/ logistics, updating processes and procedures as the company grows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preference given to Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related focus.
- 5 years of Warehouse Management experience, leading warehouse employees.
- 3 years of demonstrated exceptional leadership skills; developing, coaching/counseling and motivating teams to achieve goals, and effectively managing performance and employee relations.
- 3 years of inventory management and cycle counting experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, coming to informed decisions with confidence.
- Demonstrated ability to build and effectively communicate process, structure, execution and productivity measures.
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff, leveraging an effective communication style, while practicing active listening.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
- Competent operating in Excel with strong technical proficiency required.
- Exceptional level of attention to detail required.
- Strong ERP/SAP abilities preferred.
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or related credential preferred.
Essential Functions of the Job:
While performing this work, an employee must be able to:
- Engage in logical reasoning, interpreting, and responding.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reach overhead, lift boxes, carry boxes up a ramp and/or stairs (thinking of un/loading a truck here).
- Maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Use and experience using a forklift.
- Type and record-keep accurately to provide information regarding warehouse inventory.
- Solve problems quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
