Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial automation, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated systems, ensuring optimal performance in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in enhancing production efficiency, diagnosing issues, and implementing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated systems, including robotics, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and sensors.
- Perform diagnostics on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to ensure maximum uptime.
- Modify and program PLCs, control systems, and other related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other technicians to resolve issues and implement automation improvements.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase the lifespan of equipment.
- Document all activities, repairs, and system modifications to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, following proper protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and operators on proper machine operation and troubleshooting techniques.
