We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Wilmington, MA. In this role, you will perform a variety of electrical and electronic assembly operations on electro-mechanical systems or subsystems. You will work with engineering documents, sketches, and directions to assemble, disassemble, repair, and wire devices. The position requires the use of hand and power tools, electrical/electronic assembly equipment, and knowledge of mechanical and electrical interrelations. You will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO-9001 directives and quality procedures.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assemble and disassemble a variety of electro-mechanical systems and subsystems.
- Understand and follow engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, and instructions of moderate complexity to complete assembly operations.
- Perform operations such as box building, wiring, soldering.
- Operate hand and power tools to assemble components.
- Perform varied tasks requiring knowledge of system assembly and test requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge: Vocational school or high school with courses in shop, blueprint reading, and associated mathematics.
- Experience: 2-3 years of electrical/electronic assembly experience.
- Training: Will maintain up-to-date knowledge of assembly practices and documentation as they pertain to electron beam systems and inventory standards.
