Role Overview
As a Waste Treatment Technician , you will oversee daily operations and preventive maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment systems. You’ll work with cutting-edge equipment and technologies, ensuring efficient processing of waste streams, including the isolation of heavy metals, organic films, salts, and the regeneration of DI water. The role is highly technical and hands-on, with responsibilities for equipment maintenance, material handling, and system troubleshooting.
Primary Responsibilities
Key Equipment
- Waste Treatment : Plate and frame filter press, vacuum evaporators, pH adjustment systems, reverse osmosis skids, granular activated carbon columns, and ion exchange columns.
- Associated Equipment : Diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, chemical metering systems, heat exchangers, UV lamps, and pneumatic / manual valves.
Main Tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Relevant technical degree or equivalent industrial experience.
Experience with hand / power tools and electrical troubleshooting (multimeter skills preferred).
Independent, detail-oriented, and effective in fast-paced environments.
