Micro-Trains Line is currently accepting applications for a Zinc processor/ Production Floater worker in our Manufacturing Facility. Successful applicant will be eager to learn varied jobs of the manufacturing process including Zinc Processing , .
The Zinc Processor is responsible for secondary work on die cast parts, such as cleaning, coloring and sub assembly of parts and requires the ability to use small hand tools and jigs. Will need to be able to run a press as needed. The position is responsible for all wire forming needed for other department and is flexible requiring the zinc processor to help out in other areas when needed.
Decorators are responsible for printing car body shells and must be able to learn, understand, operate and monitor pad printers. Applicants must be able to transport boxes weighing up to 25 pounds for up to 25 feet, become proficient in cleaning and maintaining their machines and be able to work at their station for up to two hour intervals.
Assemblers are responsible for the final stages of assembling, inspecting and packaging our model railroading cars. Position will include the use of specialized assembly jigs. Applicant must assemble specific quantities of parts and finished cars as directed by the Department Lead. Job duties include visually inspecting cars and products for manufacturing and printing flaws; grasping and handling small parts; meeting production quotas within a specific time frame; working for up to two hours at a time and transporting boxes or jigs weighing up to 42 pounds from shelves as high as 44" to tables that are 31" high and up to 50' away.
Applicants will be cross-trained as needed for the above positions.

Shift hours are from 6:00 am-4:30 pm Mondays through Thursdays, Possibly Mon through Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm.
