Pay (DOE): depends on experience
Schedule: 4 DAY WORK WEEK: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
Job Summary
Promptly and efficiently ships and receives various items that flow through Micro-Tronics, Inc. As a back-up, drives truck with capacity under 3 tons to transport materials (in liquid or packaged form) and personnel to and from specified destinations.
Job Qualifications
Training and Experience
- Proficient with SyteLine (Shipping/Receiving module).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Shipping/Receiving is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year work experience as a driver is preferred.
- Experience as a fork lift operator is a plus.
Education, Licenses and Certifications
- Valid State Drivers License - must a have clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Primary Routine Work
Assist with packing all out-going shipments for safe and secure passage.
· Sign off paperwork for incoming parts.
· Check for condition of items and correct quantity
· Count Parts
· Perform the proper receiving transactions in the ERP system
· Deliver incoming parts to appropriate location through MTI
· Maintain telephone and/or email contact with supervisor and purchasing to ensure the correct parts and goods are received.
· Unload deliveries to Micro-Tronics, Inc.
· Operate forklift for loading and unloading.
· Package parts and prepare for shipping
· Coordinate with customers and shipping companies for pickup
Non-Routine
· Schedule recycled material for pickup.
· Assist with physical inventories as needed.
· Pull parts for Assembly orders
· Create packing slips for shipping parts
· cut or saw material
· return material to stock
· pull material for jobs
KPI’s
Ship out everything on the same day received.
· Receive and disperse everything on the same day received (when assisting with receiving).
· Contribute to the departmental goal to issue material to jobs in 7 days or less.
· Timely ordering of raw materials (metals) within 2 days of receipt of job order.
