Job Summary:
As a Freelance Attorney, you will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to ensure that our AI systems understand and accurately process U.S. legal concepts. Your role will involve analyzing legal texts, creating high-quality datasets, and guiding the development of AI tools that can perform legal research, draft legal documents, and provide insights on U.S. laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and curate U.S. legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law for use in training AI models.
- Provide deep insights into U.S. legal principles, frameworks, and terminology to ensure the accuracy and relevance of AI outputs.
- Review AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, coherence, and compliance with legal standards.
- Work closely with AI developers and linguists to design models capable of reasoning within a legal context.
- Stay updated on advancements in legal AI and U.S. law to ensure models remain current with legal trends and requirements.
- Ensure that AI models adhere to ethical guidelines and are free from bias or misinterpretation of legal principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Academic degree in Law (J.D., LLM, FLMM ) with a strong focus on U.S. law systems.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. legal systems, including federal and state laws, regulations, and judicial precedents.
- Experience with legal research platforms and tools.
- Ability to annotate, structure, and analyze legal texts for computational purposes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
