What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Manager position at Microbiologics Inc?
We are currently looking to add a Creative Manager to our Marketing team in St.Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for creating concepts, marketing materials and digital assets to support multiple departments. The Creative Manager will collaborate with the marketing team, sales teams and other cross-functional internal business partners to present our brand and maintain standards across all marketing channels. Determine and drive design strategy and use storytelling to establish a consistent and unified brand image and voice across digital platforms.
What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work regular business hours Monday-Friday.
Work from home on Monday's and Friday's, in the St. Cloud office Tuesday-Thursday.
Some key duties in this role include:
- Design and produce media including print, catalogs, digital, presentations, and large-scale event branding and materials.
- Create and edit icons, illustrations, infographics, animations, and video assets for multiple digital channels including web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Experience in all aspects of photography including lighting, composition, editing and color correcting.
- Work with the marketing team and other internal cross-functional teams to identify shot lists and plan, coordinate and execute product and lab photo shoots.
- Manage multiple design, photography, and video projects which involves working closely with all members of the Marketing Team, cross-functional internal business partners and suppliers/vendors to ensure clean workflow of projects through concept, design, development, final approval, production and launch.
- Lead video production projects internally and with vendors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Marketing Team and vendors (when applicable) to establish video concepts and develop a storyboard.
- Film content tailored for social media.
- Post-production video editing to include preselected music, dialogues, sound clips, graphics, animation and other important aspects of the project.
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to specifications.
- Develop animated graphics for use in video, social media and digital banner ads.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within brand guidelines and maintain consistency while also adding personal, creative touches that keep content fresh and exciting.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and best practices in the health and science industry.
- Is a key partner in nurturing the evolution of our brand identity and strategy from concept to production with a keen attention to detail.

Education/Experience
- Two/Four-year degree in Graphic Design/Graphic Arts, Digital Media and Interaction Design or related degree required.
- 5-6 years previous related experience and/or training preferred.
- Experience in post-production editing, color correction, visual effects and audio mixing.
- Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro.
- After Effects is a plus
Language Ability
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, policies/procedures, and memos.
- Ability to write short correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
Math Ability
- Basic ability to add and subtract.
- Ability to work with and understand numbers and numerical sequences.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills.
Computer Skills
- Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro.
- After Effects is a plus.
- Working knowledge using the Microsoft 365 Suite.
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
