What You'll Do
- Inspector Extraordinaire: Perform incoming inspections on bare PCBs, electrical, and mechanical components, ensuring they meet IPC-A-600 standards.
- Quality Checker: Examine workmanship for conformity to customer documentation and industry standards.
- Documentation Verifier: Verify accuracy of Certificates of Conformity, FAI reports, and test data.
- Conformal Coat Inspector: Perform conformal coat inspections as assigned.
- Compliance Champion: Follow established procedures for handling nonconforming materials.
- Support & Assist: Help engineering develop quality inspection plans and manage inspection reports.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in electronics manufacturing.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Skills: Basic component ID and soldering knowledge, experience with MICRO-VU camera-based measuring system preferred.
- Tool Pro: Competent with using basic hand tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable reading customer documentation and using digital manufacturing execution systems.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Independent Worker: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
