Job Description:
Microchip Technology Inc. is a market leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions using the latest cutting-edge techniques. For over 70 years, the Mount Holly Springs facility has provided solutions for Satellite Constellations, Deep Space Exploration Missions, Military Systems, GPS, Communication Networks, and much more. Essential Responsibilities:
- Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform a variety of automated testing
- Interpret basic test data to determine pass / fail test results
- Operate basic test equipment (multi meter) and automated test systems
- Basic soldering of surfacemount components
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Quality and safety minded
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic PC skills, math skills, and product knowledge
- Basic electronic/electrical knowledge or understanding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- This position is open to those interested in 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12 am)
