Job Description:
Microchip Technology Inc. is a market leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions using the latest cutting-edge techniques. For over 70 years, the Mount Holly Springs facility has provided solutions for Satellite Constellations, Deep Space Exploration Missions, Military Systems, GPS, Communication Networks, and much more. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machinery used in the production process.
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure they are running efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or irregularities.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Record production data and complete necessary documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in machine operation or a related field.
- Experience with crystal blank manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Schedule:
- M-F, 7 am-3:30 pm
