What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental CAD/CAM Designer position at MICRODENTAL LABORATORIES?

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of Dental CAD Designer to join our Dental Laboratory located in Brighton, Michigan.
*Qualified candidates with 5 years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Responsibilities:
- Design dental CAD framework, full contour crowns, bridges, veneers, and diagnostic wax ups
- Read, interpret, and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD software program
- Digital Model design
- Digital printing
- Electronic tracking of cases
- All other duties as assigned or as otherwise require
Qualifications:
- Proficient in 3Shape and/or Exocad designing software
- Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
- Excellent computer skills, communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections
- Ability to read handwritten English ability to read and understand laboratory slips/laboratory terminology
- Basic computer skills to effectively communicate through internal software systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Able to multitask, attention to detail
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Have a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School diploma or equivalent required
