MicroHealth is seeking a Engineering Lead for effort supporting the National Guard Bureau (NGB) National Capital Region’s (NCR) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) infrastructure, networks, Audio/Visual (A/V) services, photo services, telecommunications services, and associated services. NGB NCR NEC utilizes the ITIL best practices framework as the basis for ITSM IT model. Candidate shall be responsible for all technical design efforts related to implementing or improving NGB NCR NEC IT services and support
Location: 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA with some travel required to Offices located at the Pentagon, Ft. McNair, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and the NGB Alternate Site.
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret Required
Job Duties:
The Engineering Lead shall be responsible for all technical design efforts related to implementing or improving ARNG NGB NCR NEC IT services and support.
The Engineer Lead shall be responsible for leading the engineering group that supports the Service Delivery process by providing enhanced technical knowledge and analysis to the O&M activities. In addition, the engineering team shall provide configuration management as well as planning required to meet availability and capacity requirements of the current services, now and in the future. The team shall provide O&M engineering support for, at a minimum, the following:
a. Network Architecture Planning and Management, Integration and Implementation, and Network Performance Analysis.
b. Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
c. Security Architecture Planning, Integration and Implementation, and Performance Analysis.
The team shall provide engineering support for all changes to the NGB NCR NEC IT infrastructure and its service offerings.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Statistics, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.
A minimum of five years of experience designing and optimizing a VDI environment similar to that of the current ARNG NCR NEC environment.
A minimum of five years of experience engineering solutions that provide operational efficiencies and TCO improvements.
Required Certifications:
IAT Level III (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP) OR IAM Level III (GSLC, CISM, CISSP)
ITIL Foundation Level Certification
Salary: $140,000- $160,000
