Job description : The Financial Operations Specialist is responsible for bookkeeping and financial aspects of MicroHOA’s client service delivery. This position plays a key role in the quality of experience for clients, partners, and team members. You will work closely with owner / partners, onboarding leader, and customer support leader on service delivery, and independently on routine workflow.
Responsibilities : Implementing MicroHOA’s organized financial support systems for our clients through our backend software platform; completing daily routine financial operations efficiently and on time; maintaining adherence to accounting policies, compliant bookkeeping and quality financial operation.
Duties : This person will have a variety of duties in three client service areas :
- Management : Association bookkeeping including monthly and quarterly financial reports, AP and AR, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, annual budget entry and budget assistance for a portfolio of clients; daily banking item processing; responding to team and customer support requests through an online platform, email, and phone; coordinating with our clients, software, and banking partners.
- Onboarding new accounts : Enter association financial information at onboarding new client; add historical financials, budgets, and assessments into management software.
- Ownership transfers : Processing HOA demands and closing letters ownership transfers in an organized system, providing financial reporting required at property sales.

Skills : Organized, detailed and accurate with financial processes and controls. Communication skills for phone, email, and virtual meeting required.
Requirements : HOA financial management experience. Virtual work requires a dedicated work space and a professional presentation for virtual meetings and communication.
Experience / education : 2-4 years bookkeeping / accounting experience with US GAAP; minimum Bachelor’s degree. Required experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strongly preferred experience with Vantaca or other HOA virtual customer support software technology.
Hours : Full time.
Location : Hybrid, both in-person and work from home.
Travel : Occasional.
Compensation : Base salary performance bonus.
Base salary range : $72,000-$82,000
Bonus : Bonus tied to achievement of established company growth goals.
