microLOFT is transforming a hotel in Savannah, GA into modern, workforce multifamily housing—creating both equity growth and much-needed living spaces. We’re seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to document this exciting journey, bringing it to life through engaging content shared across our social platforms.
As a Social Media Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of chronicling this transformation. You'll collaborate with the marketing team, capture on-site progress, interview key stakeholders, and create compelling visual and written content to engage and inform our audience.
✅ Content Creation & Storytelling:
- Develop creative, on-brand social media posts (images, short videos, carousels, reels) highlighting the hotel-to-multifamily conversion process.
- Write compelling captions, blog entries, and updates showcasing project milestones, challenges, and impact.
- Use storytelling techniques to make technical processes accessible and captivating.
✅ On-Site Coverage:
- Capture photos and videos of the renovation process, including construction progress and design changes.
- Conduct short-form interviews with project managers, architects, and workers to add a human element to the content.
✅ Platform Management & Engagement:
- Manage and schedule content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok).
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build an online community around the project.
✅ Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor post performance, track key metrics, and provide insights on audience engagement.
- Make data-driven recommendations for content optimization.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong skills in content creation, video editing, and photography.
- Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later).
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling.
- Interest in real estate development and/or affordable housing projects is a bonus.
- Hands-on experience with real estate marketing and content creation.
