Micrologic is seeking a qualified IT Helpdesk Technician to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced & professional personnel. The IT Helpdesk Technician will be an integral part of the Technical Support team.
Essential Job Functions Include:
- Willingness to work overtime and a rotational weekly schedule (Hours vary). Service calls must be completed regardless of your personal schedule.
- Technical and product support
- Diagnosis and repair of computer hardware, and remote customer support
- Ability to instruct system users of all levels of computer skill sets.
- Being customer service / technically oriented with an ability to learn product line quickly.
- Working independently and providing status reports to managers
- Responding to customers in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations
Skills & Knowledge:
- Technical background and customer support experience required.
- Must have basic computer and networking skills.
- Heavy phone use requiring good communication skills.
- Possess an aptitude for, and interest in learning new technologies
- Must have a neat appearance, and be well organized with ability to multitask.
Compensation:
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- Benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
