Micrologic is seeking a qualified Chief Financial Officer to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced & professional personnel. The CFO will spearhead the development of our financial strategy, manage comprehensive financial operations, and establish a forward-looking Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This leadership role is crucial for optimizing revenue streams and advancing strategic company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with Micrologic’s business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • FP&A Development: Establish and manage the FP&A division to generate strategic insights that guide business decisions.
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow effectively, ensuring adequate liquidity for ongoing operations and investment.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost-control measures and efficiency improvements to enhance profitability as the company scales.
  • Budget Management: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and aligned with business priorities.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and financial standards, including US GAAP; maintain internal control safeguards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address financial risks, ensuring the stability and security of the company's financial health.
  • Tax Preparation Oversight: Oversee tax planning and coordinate the preparation and compliance of corporate tax filings with external accountants.
  • Audit Oversight: Collaborate with external accountants for annual audit.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective relationships with investors, banks, and other financial partners.
  • Process and System Enhancement: Implement processes and systems to enhance financial visibility and control throughout the company
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and strategic financial management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; Masters or MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of senior financial leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn rate, CAC, etc.) and financial principles relevant to SaaS revenue cycles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging technology to enhance financial processes and workflows
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams at all levels and external vendors such as CPA firms, banks, etc.
