Position Title: Accu-Cut Technician

Department: Accu-Cut                                                                   Manager: Accu-Cut Manager

Tier Level: 15                                                                                      FLSA: Non-exempt

Essential Functions:

• Perform visual/tactile inspections of tubing for defects.
• Accurately count and place tubing in inner packaging per Print Spec/Router requirements.
• Perform basic data entry with accuracy.
• Follow department procedures and Print Spec/Router requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Previous Work Experience:

• This position requires on-the-job training.
• Previous experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Quality Control experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to constantly use hands and fingers to inspect tubing for defects.
• Must be able to constantly use eyes to visually inspect and detect small defects and measurements in tubing.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time or more.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to work well with others and communicate efficiently and effectively.
• Must be able to subtract, multiply, divide and measure on multiple measuring devices.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Must be self-driven with an ability to start and complete projects independently or within a group.
• Being able to work effectively both individually and as a team.
• Following Microlumen’s procedures and understanding Print Specs/Routers are essential.

Demonstrated Competencies:

• Must consistently demonstrate The Roberds’ Way values.
• Choosing correct sample size based on c=0 sampling plan.
• Ability to accurately inspect/trim/and/or package within time constraints.
• Operator will train with multiple experienced operators and be evaluated for final determination of competency by Accu-Cut Management with feedback.
• Understanding ERP/GSS/ GUI systems.
