We are looking to add Assemblers to our Indianapolis, IN team. This role performs various general labor job duties including but not limited to assembling various sheet metal products and components utilizing various power hand tools and fastening equipment, being able to meet or exceed department production standards and expectations.
The successful candidate(s) will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; understand and be comfortable with both the working environment and physical requirements of the role including, a non-climate-controlled warehouse and lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds and standing on one's feet for longer periods of time; the ability to read and understand simple instructions in basic English; and the ability to do basic math skills. The ability to use various power tools including pneumatic tools and read basic engineering drawings and/or basic knowledge of electrical wiring is preferred.
The opportunity is on 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday with a paid 30-minute lunch break.
Once trained, employees may be required to work in other departments and mandatory overtime after regularly scheduled hours or on Saturdays during busy season, as needed and required.
