We are looking for a Setup Coordinator - Machines to add to our Indianapolis, IN team. This role set-ups, operates, and performs daily preventative maintenance (PM) on various sheet metal forming and stamping equipment (Trumpf TruMatic focused) to produce sheet metal components for assembly, utilizing the operation SOPs and other advanced reference materials. The role also maintains consistent machine operations and set-ups for operators to maximizing machine run-time while assisting in the leadership and direction of the machine area assigned, coordinating the workload and training for new and existing employees.
The successful candidate(s) will possess a high school education or equivalent; and/or related technical trade; or three or more years of proven work performance, experience, or training in sheet metal assembly, machine operations, or related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be forklift certified and be able to be certified by the company, maintaining ongoing recertification; efficiently and effectively supporting production functions to keep production moving forward; understand and be comfortable with both the working environment and physical requirements of the role including, a non-climate controlled working environment, lifting/pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds; and the familiarity of and comfort with utilizing various computer programs for machine setup and administration duties.
This role is for C Shift – Weekends, Fri – Sun: 5:30a – 6:00p with three paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Initial training would typically be held during A shift, M-Th: 5:30a-4:00p. Employees may be required to work mandatory overtime, as needed and required.
The C Shift - Weekends also includes a Shift Differential of $1.75/hr.
