Micron Module design hardware group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Architect with expertise in board-level System design to join our module development group! In this role, you will be critical in crafting and developing ground breaking electronic products and systems for CXL and DIMM modules! Your primary responsibility will be to own the board-level design process, ensuring the successful integration of hardware components and subsystems.
Responsibilities :
- Implement the board-level design process, collaborating with multi-functional teams including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and firmware engineers.
- Define the system architecture and design specifications for sophisticated electronic systems.
- Develop schematic designs and oversee the placement and routing of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analysis to optimize system performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate components and ensure design compliance.
- Perform detailed hardware design analysis, such as signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis, to ensure robust and reliable operation.
- Review and provide feedback on PCB layouts, ensuring alignment to design guidelines and standard methodologies.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in multi-functional team meetings to drive projects forward and resolve technical challenges.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in board-level design, hardware components, and manufacturing technologies to drive innovation and improve product performance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, encouraging a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
