As a Customer Systems Computer Engineer, you will run and configure diagnostic software, design experiments, analyze and interpret data, craft custom tools (Hardware and Software), and communicate data to customers both inside and outside Micron. On occasion, you may carry out these responsibilities at customer locations!
You will work with other specialists within the Customer Systems Engineering Group, Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, and all business unit teams.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and / or product demo for client.
- Provide software development and consultation to prospective users and / or product capability assessment and validation. Ensure that the product application / solution is functioning according to specifications. Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
- Prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications / solutions.
